free motion quilting & using a walking foot.  Experiment by making practice

samples on muslin.  Part 1 covers simple straight-line stitching using a walking foot.  Part 2 will be free motion

techniques.  Bring an open mind an a sense of humor.

by anyone who can rotary cut & sew an accurate 1/4 in. seam allowance.  The pieced circle is appliqued by hand or machine onto a background square.  The

suggested ribbon fabric adds movement to this beautiful project.  It can even become the center of a medallion quilt!
